My Weight Loss Story
Prior to surgery, I was in chronic pain. My joints, muscles, and my whole body moved as though I were an old woman. I couldn't play with my kids the way I wanted to. I was exhausted, depressed, and felt like a massive failure because no matter what I did, I couldn't lose the weight. Every time I would see someone - a doctor or specialist - they would just say, "lose the weight". Finally deciding to have surgery was a tough decision, but it was the best one I have ever made. I've lost 25kg so far, my pain is gone, and I can run and play with my boys.
